Andy looked at his watch and frowned. Antonio was late. He was always either early or on time.

He called out to the front desk. “Annette, has Antonio called in yet?”

“No he has not, Mr. Maynard. Would you like me to try to call him for you?”

“No. I’ll wait and see if he shows up.”

Andy leaned back in his seat confused. This wasn’t like his cousin.

He looked at his phone when it rang and smiled as he answered it. “Antonio. Where are you?”

“I’m still at home. Mom has been kidnapped. Dad and Uncle Daniel locked me in a room and they took off to find her.”

Andy stood up and grabbed his keys. He stopped by Annette’s desk on his way out the door.

“Cancel everything for today. I’ll call you later to let you know about tomorrow.”

He ran out to his car while still on the phone with Antonio.

“I’m heading to the house to get you. We’ll find your mother. While you are stuck there waiting, call Marcus and give him any information you have and tell him to start the search.

Andy and Antonio met up with Marcus and the other guys in a parking lot behind an old warehouse near the docks.

“You are sure this is where she is?”

“She was. She is on her way to the hospital with her husband now.”

Antonio looked at Marcus. “Dad and Uncle Daniel found her. Is she alright?”

“She’s scared. She wasn’t hurt though.”

Andy headed for the door. “Let’s get in there and see if there’s anything they left behind that is useful in ending all of this.”

Marcus put his hand on Andy’s arm and shook his head.

“You two don’t want to go in there. Let us search the building.”
