4:5 Brave

Andy and Reuben left Mrs. Hoyt’s office. Reuben had talked Andy into getting to the school early so they could talk to the counselor before school started. She had told them that she would take care of the problem.

Unfortunately, things did not go the way they expected.

Mrs. Hoyt decided to hold an assembly about bullying. Sitting in the auditorium with the entire school listening to everybody tell their stories was not what either of them would consider a good time.

“I don’t have a good feeling about this.”

Reuben shook his head. “She said she would talk to the coffee club. She never said she was going to do an assembly.”
